About Leeann

I have been in education for over 15 years. I have a passion for learning, and I will work with students to help them overcome their challenges in order to be successful! I'd describe my personality as patient, fun, and empathetic. I like tutoring because I like to share the joy of learning with others. It gives me great satisfaction when someone has been struggling with a subject, and now they understand it. I'm looking for a job where I can make a big difference. I love working with students that are eager to learn, but I also understand when students are apprehensive due to learning challenges. I have taught in a public setting for over 15 years. During this time, I tutored students that needed extra support. For the last 4 years, I have homeschooled my children and tutored off and on in my spare time. In my spare time, I like to read and cook. One thing you should know about me is I am confident that students will see growth while working with me.
