As a former library professional, I worked daily with children of all ages for nearly 11 years. I am looking to find just the right position with just the right family. My career as a children's book illustrator allowed me to visit many schools and libraries, speaking to young children about literacy. I enjoy reading to children, and inspiring them to be creative. My love for nature and gardening inspired me to become a master gardener. I am an avid pet lover, my husband and I have two dogs. Lecia has been a wonderful and extremely reliable caregiver for our twin toddlers. Keeping up with and stimulating two little ones is no easy task, but we can always count on Lecia to handle the job gracefully and with energy. She's been a teacher and friend to our children and inspires them to create, cooperate, and have fun. She disciplines gently when needed and is able to calmly navigate through challenging behaviors. Lecia also does a great job maintaining a schedule for activities, meals, and naps which we really rely on to get our work done. Safety is her main priority which we, as any parent would, greatly appreciate. Lecia has helped our family tremendously and we've enjoyed having her with us - and the twins truly love her. We highly recommend her as a trusted caregiver for children of all ages.
