About Lea

I like working with kids because they can teach you so much about life! I also love getting to see them grow up and develop their unique personalities! I've been working with kids since age 11, babysitting children ages 3 months to 11 years old. I'm looking for a job working with up to 4 children at a time and with children ages 2 months to 11 years, but will work with children up to 15 years old. I'm also an insect biology major at UNL. I believe this is important because I'm not afraid of any insects or animals in general. I'm willing to care for and interact with all types of animals, including removing unwanted pests from the home from time to time! My skills include conflict management, creative thinking, and patience. Babysitting a group of siblings brings its challenges to the table. I've been babysitting for a family of 4 since their first child, who is now 8, was 3 months old. Through babysitting for this family, I believe I've honed these skills.
