I have been a foster mother in CA and ID and most of the children that came in my home had some sort of special need and I was taught by therapist to do speech and physical therapy along with behavioral therapy. I have also worked with Down's Syndrome children, ADHD, severe emotional problems, and physical special needs. I know some sign language and have been responsible for medicating children.
