I have experience volunteering for a senior home specializing in memory care. During my time volunteering, I was able to form bonds with patients and learn how to handle/help senior patients going through dementia, Alzheimer's etc.. I am also in nursing school so I am well aware of medical needs and am able to help seniors with extra needs. Additionally, I am CPR and first aid certified as well as have my food handlers certification. I am able to help patients eat, prepare meals, clean up, run errands, take patients to and from appointments, assist with medication and medical needs, provide companionship etc..
