About Leanne

I'd describe my personality as down-to-earth, dependable, committed to long-term connections. I like caring for seniors because I have a lot to learn from other's stories. I'm looking for a job that builds connections and fosters genuine relationships. I started caring for seniors when I was in college. But have been employed with preschoolers and school ages for 20 years. My social work professor said I should go into gerontology. And now I believe her. I have many friends at BRC in their 80's. And I love the period of life they are in. It makes me feel alive being with them. In my spare time, I like to hike, swim, be with my adult children, read, spend time my husband of 25 years and time with friends playing games. One thing you should know about me is other people would consider me authentic, healthy, creative, and a self-starter. My skills include conversation, respect for one's perspective, and ability to meet people where they are.
