About Leann

Ever since I was a kid myself, I've babysat or cared for younger children. I got my very first job working for my local recreation as a camp counselor at 14, and I quickly became head counselor. I worked at the rec all throughout high school and only left for greener pastures, working one-on-one with families as a babysitter/nanny. After high school, I put myself through college working full-time as a partially live-in nanny in Greenwich, CT. I went to college to study journalism but found myself taking child psychology courses out of curiosity which lead me to getting my minor in development psychology, and working at the on-campus daycare. Since graduating college in 2016, I've been with 3 long term families (once one kid went off to preschool, each family passed me on to the next friend and to the next), and I've helped raise 6 very special kiddos from ages 6 months to 5 years.
