After both a phone interview and then an in person interview where she met and played with my kids, my husband and I thought Leanna was a great fit for our family so we hired her contingent upon our first day together going well. We set up to have her come Monday morning at 9am. I texted her the day before and got no answer. I texted her the morning of and also got no answer. 9 am came and went, and then she texted well after the fact to let me know she had accepted another position and thanks anyway. I've never encountered such a lack of professionalism. She probably should have let me know before the day of that she got another job. We were depending on her, put in availability for work to which I'm not screwed. The worst part is that I was going to let her into my house to be with my most prized possessions, meanwhile she's so unprofessional and unreliable.
