I have loved animals my whole life and have never had less than three of my own at any given time. My love and admiration for the human-animal bond influenced me to write my doctoral dissertation on Animal-assisted Interventions in Psychotherapy. Personally, I currently have two cats and a senior bunny, Ophie. I had a bonded pair of bunnies until Oscar passed last year at 11 years old! Ophie is now 10 and requires daily meds.
