I have 2 years working at Ranier School, which is an assisted living facility for people with special needs and mental illness. Working there I've provided personal care for a wide range of individuals while teaching and assisting with independent activities. I've cared for clients ages 18-90 years old, as well as nannied my cousins throughout the years who were 3-11 years old. Having this experience has taught me how much I truly love to help teach and aid people who are in need. Being able to teach someone a skill that they can keep with them for the rest of their life is something I find myself truly inspiring, which is why I am passionate about wanting to pursue caregiving as a career. I'm patient and am all about setting good routines. I am also trained in cases of emergencies and behaviors, and am CPR and First Aid certified.
