About Leah

I'm two years into my BSN program and have been working as a CNA in a nursing home throughout that time. For the past two years, I've provided direct care to elderly residents, supporting their daily needs while building meaningful relationships with them and their families. This role has given me hands-on experience in assisting with ADLs, monitoring vitals, supporting mobility, and responding calmly to both routine and urgent situations. More importantly, it's deepened my understanding of the importance of empathy, patience, and consistency in quality care. Balancing nursing school with my CNA work has strengthened my time management, critical thinking, and communication skills. I'm passionate about continuing to grow as a nurse and bringing that same dedication and heart people in need. I'm ready to take the next step in my healthcare journey and contribute wherever I'm needed.
