About Leah

My name is Leah and I'm a 37-year-old mother of two teens. I currently work at Carson Tahoe Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant and LOVE what I do. I'm looking to add a couple of my private client/patients to fill in my days off to help me get to nursing school. One thing you should know about me is that I use to own and operate a flower shop for almost 10 years until I experienced a major medical event landing me at UC Davis for a couple weeks. This experience changed my life and after I healed I closed down my business and ran to the medical field so that I could help make a positive difference for people who need compassion, care, understanding and support the most! My skills include daily cares, basic life support, memory care (although every memory care patient is different and unique), healthy stimulation, the use of medical equipment, feeding, mobility support, bathing and much more. I can clean and do laundry, prepare meals and run errands/outings are no problem.
