About Leah

I have 8 years of experience with taking care of young children. I can help with Light Housekeeping, swimming supervision (if applicable), and am comfortable with dogs. I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Psychology and Child Development and I am planning on furthering my education into Child Psychology in the future. I am CPR certified for both adults and young children. I am Covid-19 Vaccinated, I have tested negatively for TB, and received recent MMR and TDAP vaccinations. I have also worked with differently abled children including autism and Cerebral Palsy. I have worked as a lead teacher in a montessori preschool environment and am skilled in managing multiple young children to create a peaceful and loving environment. I have a passion and a deep love for all children and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child learn something new!
