I have 4 kids of my own, ages 17, 15, 14 and 7. I have experience and a deep appreciation for all (the work) it takes to take care of babies and toddlers, raise teens, and keep a happy home. When my neighbors asked me to help them with their 7-month-old, I jumped at the opportunity and later realized that I LOVE WORKING WITH BABIES! It made me realize that I have a lot to offer both a baby and the family. I raised my kids in Point Loma and know the fun things to do around town- library days, nature walks, reading in the park, sitting on the front porch, listening to the birds sing. I also have a zoo and sea world pass that can be used for a free admission for kids. When I do a Venn diagram (listing my passions, career choices, what I value most) helping people move through transitions in life, sits at the very center. I like to help others move forward. My favorite is learning the cues that babies give us to help them get what they need. They are great teachers!

We are incredibly fortunate to have found Leah. She is a caring and loving individual who truly treats children as her own. She is dependable and always arrives on time, ready to engage and make each day special! Her support is evident in everything she does, from helping with developmental milestones to providing emotional reassurance when needed. She is also highly communicative, regularly updating us on any changes, concerns and/or progress. We felt at ease knowing that our baby was in safe and capable hands. I highly recommend her to any family in need of a nurturing and dedicated caregiver!
