Hello! My name is Leah and I would love to work with your child. I worked in a 12:1:1 classroom for a school year, and that's where I decided I wanted to become a lead teacher. The student I worked with was non-verbal and autistic. I learned how to use an AAC device to communicate with him, and I got a lot of training on different ways to help him, (brushing and compressions, along with de-escalation). I know it can be worrisome but I think I would be a great fit.
