About Leah

I'm 39 years old and I graduated from Concordia University-St. Paul in 2003 with a B. A. in Art. I have worked as a Personal Care Assistant for both young and old and when I'm not working with people and I've also worked as a pet-sitter and a dog walker. I love animals and have had pet rabbits, cats, and dogs, a salamander, hamsters and birds. When I'm not working, I'm walking, biking and swimming. I also enjoy counted-cross-stitch projects, knitting, crocheting, drawing and photography. I am working toward attending graduate school in the next year and a half, to get my Master's Degree in Social Work. I've taken care of both dogs and cats. When dog sitting, cat sitting and any other critter sitting, I always spend quality time with the animal(s), talking to them, playing with them and giving them lots of love and attention. Leah was able to sit for us at short notice when our usual cat sitter was unable to sit for us. She made the time to come over before our trip to meet our cat and even brought over a special toy so our cat would have a new and fun experience! She was wonderful with our pet, friendly and dependable and we'd definitely call her again!
