About Leah

Hi everyone! I have enjoyed working in elementary education for the last 5 years. Most recently, I have worked with students with learning disabilities as well as other challenges that may stand in the way of learning, such as attention or tricky behavior. I have my Master's in Special Education and have a passion for showing children what they are truly capable of if they are given the right tools to be successful. I have a commitment to finding the right learning strategies that work for the child, since there is no child that learns exactly the same way. In my time as a teacher, I have implemented a variety of learning interventions for students that have improved their abilities in reading, writing and math.
