About Leah

I am an outgoing, highly skilled in home care provider for seniors, disabled adults, mentally challenged adults and have experience caring for children with Autism. I have worked privately, for in home care agencies, for state pay clients through Senior and Disabled Services and was a foster parent as needed from 1998 to 2015. I am completely drug free, have an excellent driving record, able to use my car or yours, and I am willing to submit to and am able to pass a comprehensive background check. In addition to the regular skill set, I have special training in stroke care including food thickening, assisting with home exercise and rehabilitation and using communication aids. I have extensive experience with adult and juvenile feeding tube management. I was responsible for managing the psychotropic medications of a mentally disabled adult following RN prescribed guidelines for over 3 years. I am a skilled cook and am familiar with running a household and providing quality care.
