About Leah

I started mother's helper for a close family friend when I was about 10, and made my way into babysitting as I grew up. I have loved it since then! I have regularly sat for several families and for children between the ages of newborn to about 12 years old. I'm very interactive and love to participate with the kids. I am CPR certified and took a Babysitting course when I first began sitting. Recently, I spent a few summers nannying full-time for 3 children- newborn, 2yr and 6 yr old-then a summer later two boys 9 and 12. I would love to have that opportunity again! I have a car and a clean record. I am currently getting my Masters in Secondary Education at UMASS Amherst after graduating from there with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics. I have spent the year student teaching and preparing to become a high school math teacher! I will be free full time as soon as the local school year finishes, and outside of school hours until then. Leah has watched my 4 all summer- 3 rambunctious boys and 1 girl. 4 kids of varying ages can be a challenge and she's managed with a good attitude and always a smile even on rough days! Trustworthy, punctual, kind, and consistent.
