During my years at EWU in the Therapeutic Recreation program, I have accumulated over 1500 hours of experience working with different populations in many different settings. Some of the settings that I have volunteered for have been in after school programs for children at risk, or volunteering for children with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, etc). In 2020, I interned as a Recreational Therapist for Seattle Children's Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center where I assisted a CTRS in many different classes for adults with developmental disabilities. I currently work as a Community Inclusion Specialist where I assist individuals with developmental disabilities in creating relationships with others in the community to help with their social, physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
