Hi! My name is Leah and I am currently a senior at Eastern Washington University in the Therapeutic Recreation program. My experience of babysitting has been for friends and family here and there throughout my life. Also, I have worked childcare at a gym during the summer. However, as a student in the Therapeutic Recreation program, I have over 1500 hours of experience working with different populations in many different settings. Most of the settings that I have volunteered for have been in after school programs for children at risk, or volunteering for children with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, etc). I am a very compassionate, loving, and go with the flow individual. I truly enjoy being around kids and can easily keep up with the energy. I am very adventurous and love to travel and try new things. I have gotten good at arts and crafts after volunteering at many different settings for Therapeutic Recreation.
