About Leah

Hi! I'm Leah, I'm from Newton, MA and I just graduated from UMass Boston with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. With several years of experience working in childcare centers and as a camp counselor, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for kids. I have my own transportation with a clean driving record, CPR/First Aid certified, I am non-smoking, and I love pets! I would describe myself as reliable, adaptable, empathetic and hard-working. My approach to childcare varies depending on each families' needs, but typically includes a variety of engaging activities like outdoor play (when weather permits), arts and crafts, imaginative/free play, and educational games. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens, and am happy to help out with meal preparation, pet care, and light housekeeping as well. My goal is to support your family by ensuring your little ones are happy and well-cared for!
