My name is Lea and I have a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, 12+ years childcare experience in various settings, a true passion for children and value education and caregiving. *I am energetic, loving and nurturing. I love to do age-appropriate activities: reading, arts/crafts, going on outings, music/movement, being outdoors, & imaginative play. *I have some Spanish skills, although I am not fluent. I have experience with newborns all the way up to teenagers, special needs children, multiples and large families. CPR/First Aid certified, non-smoker, very reliable and trustworthy. I am a certified postpartum doula & a certified pediatric sleep consultant. I have long lasting relationships with previous employers. I have a teaching degree but have chosen this profession because I love it so very much and I love being able to teach and care for little ones!

We highly recommend Lea. We first met in 2016, when our girls were two and four. She cared for our kids for three weeks that summer and babysat for us on a regular basis until we moved away two years later. Lea is extremely professional and a motivated self-starter. She is well organized and coordinated plans and activities for the kids each week, recognizing their developmental needs. She ensured the right mix of physical health, well-being, and movement skills by allowing for free-play and outdoor activities. She focused on communication, language, and early literacy. We have great confidence in Lea as a teacher and caregiver for our children. Lea is a great communicator and listener. She is patient with children and watches for non-verbal signs. She addresses children's concerns in a calm, professional manner. In addition, she exhibited wonderful communication skills with parents and other caregivers. Lea is passionate about children and their development.
