About Layla

Hi! My name is Layla, and I'm an 18-year-old who's passionate about children! Starting this fall, I am going to school for Early Childhood Education, hoping to one day teach grades pre-k through second. Though I have no paid experience, I spent many of my teenage years caring for my little brother, who just turned 5, and that developed my passion for childcare. I enjoy pretend play, doing crafts or seasonal activities, going on outings, baking, teaching independent play, or even working in children's workbooks. Whether it's a one night job for a date night, or a nanny for the summer, i'm available! I have open availability and my own car. In my spare time, I like to read. I enjoy many genres, from the literary classics, young adult, historical fictions, poetry, etc. I am a creative and visual person, so I enjoy immersing myself in a story.
