About Layla

I've always loved working with children. The past 3 summers I've worked as a camp counselor for both overnight and day camps, and I have babysat . Growing up, I absolutely loved hanging out with my babysitters and camp counselors, and those memories are some of my favorites. I love doing just about any activity with children, whether structured or not, such as games, crafts, or sports. If any issues arise, I'll communicate with parents verbally at pickup or by their preferred communication method. When it comes to household rules, I follow the parents' lead, but I am confident in my ability to enforce rules effectively. I have also had experience working with neurodivergent children in both a school and summer camp setting. With some early childcare coursework, plus First Aid Training and CPR Training, I have three years of childcare experience and am comfortable caring for up to four children, from infants to preteens.
