Lay Har is the most amazing nanny I have ever met. She loves our son and he loves her so much. He is absolutely thriving in her care. She has worked with us since he was 4 months old and has been a game changer for our family. She helped create a routine for our son based on his needs and updates it as developmentally appropriate. As first time parents, I don’t know how we would have done it without her. Although we repeated many times she doesn’t have to do anything that isn’t about the baby, Lay Har voluntarily folds laundry, loads the dishwasher and makes our son amazing fresh meals daily based on the diet choices we make as a family. Lay Har is happy to accompany you and your child to doctor or dentist appointments and other errands, turning a dreaded errand into a fun adventure . She is incredibly reliable and has not been late a single day in all the time we have worked with her. She has an amazing work ethic, and agreed to work over the weekend and a holiday when we had a family emergency. Lay Har is never distracted or on her phone, and gives 150% of her energy and attention to our son. I really cannot recommend her enough and I wish we did not have to say goodbye. She is looking for a full-time position (40 hours a week minimum). We currently pay her $30/hour, after a raise we initiated. She lives in Milipitas but is happy to travel to the Peninsula and even parts of East Bay (we moved from Palo Alto to Castro Valley and she stayed with us).
