About Layah

Hi! My name is Layah! I'm a passionate caregiver studying Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology at IU Indianapolis. I currently work at the Center for Young Children on campus, where I've had the opportunity to work with children of all age groups-though I was specifically placed in the infant room. This role has given me hands-on experience with nurturing and caring for the youngest children. My love for children runs deep, and I am a strong advocate for ensuring every child is treated with patience, respect, and care. I believe that early childhood is one of the most important stages of development, and I'm committed to providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. My long-term goal is to become a teacher and a child therapist, which drives me to help children grow academically and emotionally.
