My name is Laya and I am passionate about caring for children in a way that makes them feel valued and respected! I go to Brandeis University and am studying Theater Arts, Psychology, and Judaic Studies. As part of my studies, I have taken multiple developmental psychology courses so I have both an experiential and academic basis for working with children. I have had experience working in Daycare with the 2-3 age group, at a Hebrew school as a Music teacher for grades pre K-4th, as a Rock Climbing Coach for ages 6-12, and as a nanny for a 5 y/o three nights a week. I also worked as a part-time summer nanny for a family with an 8-month-old, 3 y. o, and 5 y/o. Additionally, I worked as a full-time nanny for a 7 and 9-year-old pair of girls and now work as a part time Hebrew School teacher in Boston. I am currently looking for employment during May and June before I begin a language immersion program for the remaining summer months. Please reach out if you might be interested!

Laya is wonderful! She started working for us when school ended and made the transition from school to summer break seamless for our family. Our girls love their time with her. She matches their energy, and at the same time sets an example of responsibility and respect. They enjoy her so much, they miss her on the weekends!
