About Lawrence

I have a depth of experience teaching Social Studies, as well as ACT and SAT test prep, in several diverse settings and on many grade levels. I have taught nearly every course in the Social Studies curriculum for grades 6-12. I have 10+ years of test prep experience in both New York and Florida. I have four college degrees including two Master's. My M. A. in History, my M. S. in Secondary Education for Social Studies and my Bachelor's Degree in History, are from Queens College. History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Sociology are my passions both inside and outside the classroom. My ability to relate to students and teach them how to game their tests and classes. I have consistently told by former students that I "keep it real." I am especially effective with kids who seem to dislike their classes.
