About Lavetta

My most recent childcare experience was when I studied abroad in Valencia, Spain during my spring semester. I was given the opportunity to babysit a Spanish 8-year-old child by the name of S. Everyday after school, my main role was to give her afternoon snack, and play with her only in the English language. We used Spanish only when necessary. I could tell by S. face of the excitement she had to see me and I was always happy to see her as well. I always followed any orders that her parents gave me and I never had any problems going the extra mile for S. I pay very close attention to what a child may want and need and strived to meet all satisfactory levels of her mother and father. I also have had daily experience for the past 10 years, babysitting my 10-year-old sister. My role since she has been born has been to prepare all meals, help with homework, give baths, teach what is right from wrong, and keep her entertained by being physically and verbally involved.
