I had the pleasure of hiring Ms. L as our nanny, and I am very appreciative of the care she provided for my child. She went above and beyond by not only taking exceptional care of my little one but also assisting with light housework, including washing, drying, and folding laundry—tasks that weren’t part of the original agreement but were truly appreciated. Ms. L communicated well about any changes, needs, and kept us updated with daily reports and pictures, which I loved. Her attention to detail and the connection she built with my child was wonderful. I would definitely consider rehiring her in the future. However, I want to share that there were some challenges with scheduling. Ms. L did make last-minute changes to her schedule, requesting fewer hours with the same pay, and she also requested time off throughout the week. Additionally, she expected to be off when the school district was closed, though we had already discussed paid holidays prior to her hiring. Despite these scheduling issues, Ms. L is a sweet and caring person who took excellent care of our child. I would definitely recommend her, with the understanding that there might be some scheduling flexibility required.
