About Laurin

I'd describe my personality as caring, honest, and friendly. I like working with animals because they need us! They can't tell us what they need, we have to anticipate it. Animals rely on us. I'm looking for a job that allows me to meet new people and pets, while providing a much needed service. I started working with animals when I was a teenager at a vet clinic in Virginia. Even as a child, I had all types of pets and cared for neighbors' pets and farm animals. In my spare time, I like to hike, bake, and paint. One thing you should know about me is my tenacity. I finish the way I would want someone to do a job for me. Whether it's hanging up a leash, or wiping muddy paws before we come in from a walk- the details matter. My skills include positive reinforcement training, leash training, and providing medication as needed.
