Hello, dear families! As an Infant Specialist, caring for children has been the heart of my life for over 45 wonderful years. Since 1980, I've had the joy of nurturing children, including working with professional and high-profile families. I'm often described as trustworthy, patient, kind, calm, and compassionate-qualities I bring into every moment with the children in my care. I hold a Bachelor's in Environmental Education, childhood education certifications from Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, and Yale, and am pursuing a Master's in Mental Health Counseling.. I retired from a nonprofit career in 2019. I have a new car, clean driving record, am a nonsmoker, CPR and water safety certified, and fully vaccinated against Covid. My rate starts at $35 hr. Laurie has been apart of our family for almost three years and we couldn’t ask for a better experience. I am so grateful for the way Laurie treats our kids, dog and cat. There has never been a moment when I second guessed anything she wanted to teach the kids or take them on fun experiences. It always puts a smile on our faces when our children ask if nanny is coming with us wherever we go on the weekends. She works with us to understand our parenting style and helps reinforce it. Any family will be lucky to have her around and I know other kids will have so much fun spending time with her as have ours. The memories and photo updates every day will be truly missed.
