About Laurie

I'm a retired BS electrical engineering, Harvard MBA and pathologist now directing my energies and passions to tutoring K-12 and math, science, english, computer and business subjects. I have 6 months of paid tutoring experience in physics, and have helped students throughout my career in STEM subjects in particular. My passion for tutoring children started with mentoring from my mother who was a special education teacher, and continued as I home tutored my children who had special needs due to learning disabilities. I know how to make learning fun, how to be patient, how to individualize teaching for each student and how to keep them engaged. I look forward to introducing myself to your family!
