Hi I have been a Care. com member since 2014. My first position was caring for a 23 yr old mentally handicapped, somewhat high functioning mother and her 2-week-old baby. I basically helped, taught mom how to care for her baby. My second position working with the challenged population was with a 47-year-old man who had a brain injury, he lived in a condo on his own, he needed help in his daily tasks, he did not drive. I worked the evening to morning shift. We went to movies, grocery shopping, out to dinner and to stores .
