Helping people has always been something I enjoyed doing. I have over 15 years of experience caring for children ages infant-18. I paid my way through college working as a personal assistant for several months and for 4 summers as a camp counselor. After graduating from college, I taught elementary school and preschool for two years and worked as a private nanny for over 4 years. I have spent time working with home-bound patients, special needs individuals, and families with multiples. I am First Aid/CPR/AED certified, have a flexible schedule, and have my own car. Lauren cared for our infant son from ages 3-8 months. She took such good care of him, and he always had a smile on his face when I came home! Lauren is extremely qualified, and always very punctual. The house was always extremely tidy when I would return, including dishes put away, my son's clothes washed, folded, and put away neatly, and his toys arranged in order. Lauren is creative in the activities they would do throughout the day, including park visits and story time at the library. She communicated frequently and effectively with me throughout the day, and took very diligent notes. Also a great date night babysitter! Lauren is flexible and accommodating, and I felt confident that my son was in great hands. I would highly recommend Lauren if you are looking for a qualified and kind caretaker!
