About Lauren

My name is Lauren and I would describe myself as kind, easy-going and creative. I like working with kids because I love seeing their personalities develop overtime! I also value the importance of them feeling safe to be themselves and to trust who's caring for them. I started working with kids in high school. I nannied for a family with 4 kids (8 mo.-8 yrs old) for a summer and babysat them until I graduated. I cooked basic meals, changed diapers, entertained, bedtime, helped with homework, and ensured the kids were safe and cleaned up after. I also volunteered for my high school's preschool program and taught 3-5-year-olds! I value creativity and passion in my life, and hope to work in environments that welcome those things as well. My skills include creating a fun, safe environment, active listening and providing enriching and stimulating activities! While I do have a nanny job now, I am free most weekends for babysitting!
