I have tutored a boy with a learning disability and seizure disorder for the past six years. We went over schoolwork, prepared for exams, and kept up with skills throughout the summer. I also was the vice president of an organization during high school. I was a mentor and my tasks included providing appropriate interactions with local high school students in the Special Education program. Recently, I have worked at an adult training facility with people with mental illness. I was responsible for at least six individuals at a time. I helped with different activities in each program area and I was responsible for the general care of each individual.
