About Lauren

If you've ever seen "Cheaper by the dozen" then you'll have a glimpse of what a regular Monday morning looked like in my house growing up. I am the middle child of nine, and to say my house was a hectic one would be an understatement. There was always a screaming baby in the house, and I've been changing diapers since I stopped needing one myself. Working with children is my life's calling. I am currently studying neuroscience at UF, hoping to go on to medical school when I graduate. As for previous work experience with children, I worked at a summer camp as a counselor in the Venetian pool. I am a trained lifeguard, and was previously certified in both adult and child CPR (since then, my certifications have expired). Other than that, I'm a cheerful person with an overactive imagination. I will care for your children as if they were my own blood, the same way I have my whole life. (Also, I speak fluent Spanish, my family is from Spain)
