About Lauren

I’d describe my personality as warm, nurturing and silly. \r\n\r\nI like working with kids because they always bring a smile to my face. I love seeing them discover new things or their own abilities.\r\n\r\nI started working with kids when I was 13! I always wanted to be near or around children as a babysitter or a camp counselor. My former career had me working with kids 3-15. And then I had 3 of my own. My life has been centered around children. \r\n\r\nIn my spare time, I like to cook, decorate cakes/cookies, and go to my kids sporting events and hike. \r\n\r\nI have 2 degrees- one in speech language pathology, and a masters in marriage and family therapy. I worked on and off as a mom. I understand life as a working mother and life as a stay at home mom. Both are HARD! \r\n\r\nI love to engage and play with kids doing games, art, and cooking if they are older. I know the ins and outs of infant/toddler care. I love taking kids on outings- parks/museums etc. or playing at home! I can do bath, naps, bedtime.
