About Lauren

Hello my name is Lauren, I'm 24 years old and I absolutely love caring for children! I grew up in Connecticut, but recently moved to Boston to work at Franciscan Children's as an Art Therapist. I recently received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling with an Art Therapy specialization from Lesley University. I love doing fun projects with children and sharing with them my love of art. I also love to cook and spent a majority of my childhood attached to my grandmothers hip in the kitchen. I can make breakfast, lunch, dinner and also bake delicious treats for the kids. Through my experiences I have learned much about myself and others, which has led me to continue working with children. I encourage children to be creative, enthusiastic and expand their horizons which I love having a part of. I will create a comfortable, fun, and safe environment with my positive and upbeat personality!
