I am an in-home childcare provider. I offer F/T, P/T, drop-in and before-and-after school childcare. I am a 36yr old happily married mother of 2. I have over 15 yrs experience in the childcare field. All the older children I care for go to Flagstone Elementary (Founder's Village area), and catch their bus a half a block from our house. My one special needs child, a 9yr old girl who cannot talk, catches her special needs bus directly in front of our house. If you are looking for before and after school care, your child would need to attend Flagstone. I cannot drive them. However, if your child needs care, f/t or p/t, and you can pick up and drop off, I am here for you from 7:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Mon-Fri. I charge $50/day for special needs drop-in services and $40/day with a weekly contract. This includes 2 snacks, lunch, and drinks. I charge $5 extra per day for children in diapers. Respite care can be offered on weekends, with a contract (depending on your child's disability, and accommodations my home might need to be able to offer such services). My husband and I have both had recent FBI background checks (my husband is a driver, and required to do this yearly) and my fingerprints are on file with the Castle Rock Police Dept. I also have a perfect driving record, and I have references available upon request. I have been caring for my special needs child for over a year now, and we are thrilled to have her as part of our loving daycare family. She has become a close friend, and has impacted my children, and our family in ways we never expected. I would love to provide a loving, structured, safe and fun environment for your special needs child. We have an open layout home that should be able to accommodate a children's wheelchair. The main living/play and kitchen area is open without steps, and the front entryway has only 2 small steps.
