I have experience caring for patients with cognitive decline and attending to their unique needs. Additionally, I have experience caring for patients with feeding tubes and difficulty swallowing. I care for my patients in a manner that I would want myself or my loved ones cared for. My disposition is that everyone needs love, dignity, and respect. Lauren has proved extremely helpful in taking care of my mother for the last year but also been instrumental in educating me about dementia care and the resources that are available for the family caregiver. Caring for someone with dementia is a difficult job, but Christy manages it like a pro. Christy is compassionate and kind with her patients. She also is calm in a “storm” no matter what that storm brings. During the time Christy was with my mom, she provided her with companionship, medication support and any trips to the various doctor's office. She learned what my mother liked and would put those likes (milkshake and lemon cakes) into her drives to the appointments. It was a masterful way to get the patient into the car and back home with no incidents. Therefore, I fully recommend Lauren R. for a caregiver position. You will not regret it!
