Hey there! My name is Lauren! I'm 25 years old, and graduated from University of Oregon in 2020. I have a passion for working with kids, which is why I got my degree in human services. I am seeking a job starting October, as the kiddo I nanny is going off to daycare :( I have worked with children ages ranging from 10 months - 16 years old. I've worked as a babysitter for over 9 years, and I have been a nanny for the past 5 & 1/2 years. I have experience working with children through internships, coaching, mentoring, camp counseling, and a year of experience at School in Portland. Lauren is a gem. When she walked into our home the first time it was like sunshine coming in. My son was immediately excited to bond with her; some people are just that natural with kids and connect instantly, and she is one of them. She knows exactly how to play with our rambunctious three year old boy and cuddles our five month old and sweetly smiles and talks to him. I've been extremely comfortable letting her take our car and drive our son to play places, smoothie dates, etc-I've never seen my son have so much fun and be so at ease with someone who was a complete stranger at first. I think he was more excited to be with her than his grandparents which is saying a lot, he loves his extended family! He keeps asking for her to come back-And so we've booked her for as many days as possible :) When the kids were both down she asked if she could do our dishes and laundry, and left our home tidy, which was way more than we could ask for. We are stoked to have her with us and so thankful!
