About Lauren

Hello! I have experience with children aged 3 months-21 years. I've worked in high schools, preschools, summer camps, as a nanny, as a respite/community habilitation worker, and worked in multiple integrated programs. I have an extensive background in special education and feel comfortable caring for children with any ability. My experience is mostly in autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, demand avoidance, and mental illness. Currently, I am a full time camp director for ages 3-10 for children with disabilities. I recently graduated with a B. A. in psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent development. I love the outdoors, arts and crafts, sports, and having fun! In my free time I hike, run, spend time with family and friends, and go to concerts. I love to be active and believe that children thrive with activity in their schedule. I am looking for the occasional or scheduled babysitting gig. I offer pet care as well and am also able to help with household chores and errands.
