Hello! My whole life I have been around someone with special needs, whether it be my uncle or my sister who was born when I was 2 years old. My childhood was spent around feeding tubes, g tubes, speech therapy, food therapy, plenty of doctors appointments and hospital visits. I grew up being a proud sister and niece! My sister unfortunately passed away when she was 16. After she passed away, I worked at the camp she attended as a one on one aide. I also worked during the school year with special needs babies and toddler's. For the past 2 and a half years I have been a habilitation worker for a non verbal autistic male, teaching him life and social skills out in the community! I also nanny part time for another family.
