About Lauren

Hi there- my name is Lauren! I am currently a senior at Kent State University, majoring in Child Psychology, minoring in autism spectrum disorders. After graduate school, I plan to become a licensed School Psychologist. My areas of expertise include human development, child psychopathology, and assessment. I enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching care environment. I've worked with children since age 16 (babysitting for family and friends), and worked as an infant daycare teacher over a summer in college. This past fall, I enjoyed volunteering as a pre-k teaching assistant at the Kent State child development center. This spring semester, I worked as a research assistant in a research psychology lab on campus; The research team administered cognitive assessments to elementary students for developmental research. I describe myself as positive, genuine, and above all- type A. I pride myself on being extremely vigilant and cautious, ensuring the safest care environment!
