About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as kind, adventurous, and warm. I like working with kids because each child is unique and I love learning about each and every one. Children have so much to offer the world and inspire me with their creativity and imagination. Working on a one-on-one level highlights personal qualities that each child has to offer and I love being able to work with them on a multitude of things. In my spare time, I read books (goal of 50 for this year!), spend time with friends, and of course, all my homework (not necessarily fun, but sure is satisfying when I'm done!). One thing you should know about me is I'm a very flexible individual and that I'm good when it comes to challenging myself. I started working with kids when I was in high school when I started babysitting my younger sister's classmates. I babysat a range of ages from about 9 months to 12 years old. Since then, I've also been a Ski Instructor and a supervisor and counselor at Pedalheads Bike Camps.
