About Lauren

I'm looking for a childcare position within the New Fairfield/Danbury area. I am 39 and do not have any children of my own. I love children and I have experience with infants, toddlers, and those with special needs. I have a BA in psychology and continued on to grad school and have since worked as an ABA therapist for children on the autism spectrum. My most recent nanny job was in Redding, CT for a2-year-old. Before that I worked in Pelham, NY: for a 5-year-old boy with and also for a family of four children - two boys (5 & 10) and two girls (12 & 16). I now live in New Fairfield to live near family. I have a niece and nephew (3 years and 9 months, respectfully) and I've also looked after my friends' daughters (now 7, 12, and 14) since they were newborns. I have my own reliable transportation, I can cook and do light housework, and am CPR/AED certified. I like to dance, sing, play games, bake, do arts and crafts and just have fun in general.
