Hi! My name is Lauren and I've been tutoring math for a few years now. I recently graduated with a B. S. in Biology from CSU Long Beach, but I enjoy tutoring math on the side. I've tutored students from the age of 6 to 18, and can help with math ranging from elementary level maths to Calculus. Math can get a little tricky, so I understand how important it is to be patient and kind to my students when working with them! Lauren is absolutely fantastic, I cannot say enough good things about her. She is calm and patient and engaging with my boys. She tutored my oldest son 4-5 days a week and helped him with homework. She is incredibly smart and knows how to explain the homework and helped my son truly learn the math he was struggling with. I am a mom of three young children and it is not easy to sit with my oldest and help him when I have two others interjecting the whole time. Lauren took a huge weight off of my shoulders, I am truly grateful for her help! She checks all the boxes a mom could ask for when looking for a helper/tutor. We will truly miss having her help out now that she is off to college across the state.
